I am currently a part-time student at the University of Colorado in Boulder. I am a Public Relations Major, with a minor in Sports media. My goal is to understand what goes on behind the scenes of sports broadcasting, so that I may continue to work in the rugby world, when my time playing is done. As a student, I am always looking for opportunities outside of school and I am excited about the future and applying what I am learning in classes here at CU! Before CU I attended the University of Mary Washington for a year, before moving to Colorado.
In March of 2021, I signed my first professional rugby contract with the Colorado XO's. Since then I have made my Major League Rugby debut with Rugby United New York. I signed with New York in June of 2021, joining the team for the rest of their MLR season. I currently play for the American Raptors in Glendale Colorado, commonly known as Rugbytown USA. The American Raptors just finished a tour in Uruguay, where we went 1-1 against the Uruguayan national select team.
My most recent employment was with Bonobos. Bonobos was a great place for me to work and was a key factor in the beginning of my love for Public Relations. Working with customers and meeting new people, I learned how some of my best qualities come about when interacting with others. As I began to get back into College classes, I wanted to find a degree that would enhance the skills I have learned over the years, and make myself a more suitable candidate for plans I have in the future.
